Automation that starts from measured bottlenecks

Once measurement shows where time goes, we build the automation. Where the rules are clear, that’s plain code. Where a step needs reading, judgment or drafting, we build an agent that works within set limits and hands off to a person when it should.

Example: invoice processing into SAPInvoices arrive by email and go to an extraction agent. Extracted fields pass through validation rules and are posted to SAP. Invoices that fail validation go to the accounts payable team for review.Invoice emailExtraction agentValidation rulesSAP postingAccounts payablereview

When clients need this

  • A measured step takes hours every week and follows the same pattern most of the time.
  • Documents such as invoices, claims or orders arrive in many formats and have to be keyed into a system.
  • A team spends its time on routine cases and too little on the exceptions that need them.

How we build it

We use the simplest tool that works: deterministic code for rules, and a model only where the input is unstructured or the step needs judgment.

Agents get a defined set of tools, each with scoped permissions. Actions above an agreed risk threshold go to a person for approval, and every action is logged.

Exceptions are part of the design. The system routes what it can’t handle to the right queue with the context attached, so nobody starts from scratch.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t automate a step that measurement hasn’t shown is worth it.
  • We don’t build agents that act without logs or limits.
  • We don’t remove human approval from decisions that carry legal or financial risk.
